Cancellation Fees for Athletic Trainers
At Go4, we understand that accepting a shift often requires you to reserve time in your schedule, arrange travel, and turn down other opportunities. To help protect your time, Go4 applies cancellation fees when a Job Poster cancels a confirmed shift within a certain timeframe before the shift begins.
Eligibility Requirements
Cancellation compensation only applies when:
- The shift was in a Confirmed status.
- The Job Poster cancels the shift within the eligible cancellation window.
- The cancellation is not related to weather or other excluded circumstances.
If a shift is canceled before the cancellation window begins, no cancellation fee will be charged.
Cancellation Fee Schedule
24-72 Hours Before the Shift
If a confirmed shift is canceled between 25 and 72 hours before the scheduled start time:
- The Job Poster is charged 25% of the shift cost.
- The cancellation fee is paid directly to the Athletic Trainer.
Within 24 Hours of the Shift
If a confirmed shift is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time:
- The Job Poster is charged 50% of the shift cost.
- The cancellation fee is paid directly to the Athletic Trainer.
Weather-Related Cancellations
Cancellation fees are not applied when a shift is canceled due to weather or other circumstances outlined in Go4's Marketplace Standards.
Need a Policy Review?
If you believe a cancellation was incorrectly classified as weather-related, you may submit an appeal request within 72 hours of the related event for review.
Complete the Request Review Form to have our team evaluate the circumstance. All submissions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
How Payments Are Processed
Eligible cancellation compensation is automatically processed through Go4.
- No invoice or additional action is required from the Athletic Trainer.
- Payments are deposited according to Go4's standard payout schedule.
- Cancellation compensation will appear in your financial records within the platform.
