Missed Shift Check-In and Payment Request

Learn what to do if you forgot to check in to a shift, how payment eligibility is reviewed, and what information is required to verify your attendance.

Checking in through the Go4 app is an important part of verifying attendance and ensuring timely payment. Athletic Trainers who do not check in by the end of a shift may be marked as a No Show.

A No Show may result in:

  • Delayed or withheld payment until attendance can be verified
  • An impact to your Reliability Score
  • Reduced visibility or opportunities on the platform over time if reliability concerns become recurring

      FAQs

Will I automatically be paid if I forgot to check in?
No. Payment cannot be processed until your attendance has been verified.

The Go4 app requires Athletic Trainers to be within a designated radius of the shift location in order to successfully check in. This check-in serves as confirmation that you arrived at the shift and is what initiates the payment process.

If you forget to check in, the system has no way to verify that you were present and worked the shift. As a result, payment cannot be processed automatically and your shift may be marked as a No Show.

If you attended and worked the shift but were unable to check in, contact support@go4.io within 72 hours of the shift's scheduled time. Our team will review the situation and, if attendance can be verified, may be able to manually check you in so payment can be processed.

How long do I have to submit a request?
Requests to our support team must be submitted within 72 hours of the shift's scheduled time.

What if my shift is showing as a No Show?
Athletic Trainers who do not check in by the end of a shift may receive a No Show status. If you worked the shift, submit a review request as soon as possible so our team can investigate.
