Required Credentials for Nurses

Credentials are the necessary paperwork that you must store on Go4 to prove that you are a Nurse that follows best practices. Before you can apply for a job on Go4, you must add required credentials to your profile. 

STEPS TO ADD OR EDIT CREDENTIALS

1. Log in to the Go4 app on your phone. (Make sure you have the latest version downloaded from the app store!)

2. Click the upper left-hand corner hamburger icon (icon with 3 horizontal lines) and select Credentials

3. You will see a list of auto-populated credentials highlighted in grey. Click ADD next to the credential you would like to upload

4. Add all required information per credential

You may skip this step at sign-up if you do not have your credentials readily available, but you must have all the required credentials uploaded before you can apply for a job. 

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS FOR Go4 NURSES

State License

Your state licensure needs to be uploaded with your state and license number as well as a legible, recent picture of your license. This is also true of your compact licensure.

Compact License

On the Go4 platform we ask that you add your licensure based on the state in which you were licensed. It is important to note that just because the state you are licensed in maybe a compact state, your state license does not automatically make you eligible to work in another compact state. You must have your NLC compact state licensure in addition to your normal state license. The app will automatically show you jobs in compact states where your compact state licensure is accepted but you are not permitted to apply to those jobs without a compact license.

Basic Life Support (BLS)/ Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS)

BLS is required for your profile and in order to search for jobs. If you are an ICU-trained or Step-Down ICU-trained RN, and you have ACLS, please also add that to your profile. This only makes you more marketable and qualified for more jobs. Please be sure that you upload a legible picture of your credential from either the Red Cross or the American Heart Association.

Professional Liability Insurance or PLI is required by Go4 for all RNs looking to work a shift on our platform. While you may be covered under the hospital's insurance when you practice within a hospital system, you are not covered by that same policy when you work as a 1099 per-diem nurse in other settings. PLI is extremely affordable and can protect you and your family. 

Please attach your COI (cert. of insurance) when completing this part of your Go4 profile.

Current Role | You can list your Current Role to enhance your profile, such as:

• Registered Nurse
• Licensed Practiced Nurse
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Nurse Practitioner
• Critical Care Registered Nurse
•  Nurse Tech

Resume

Your resume is an important piece to your application as it shows a job poster not only your qualifications but your work history, specialties, and background. Think of this no different than if you were applying to a job at a brick and mortar institution, you would always lead with your resume!
