Questions about your 1099s? Well, then you came to the right help article!
Go4 automatically tracks your 1099 info, so you don’t have to waste time tracking 1099-NEC forms from multiple per diem employers.
Because Go4 is a Payment Settlement Entity under IRS Rules, you will only receive a year-end 1099 from Go4 if you earn more than $20,000 annually and have more than 200 transactions for the 2022 tax year.
If you do not meet both of those criteria you will not receive a 1099 for work performed through the Go4 app.
Please be aware, however, that non-receipt of a 1099 does not mean that income earned through Go4 is tax-free, you should seek guidance from your accountant or tax preparer.
Please note that the above criteria is set to change for tax year 2023. Per the IRS, as part of the American Rescue Plan of 2021, beginning in 2023, third-party settlement organizations will be required to issue 1099s at the end of the year if your earnings exceed $600. You should seek guidance from your accountant or tax preparer in regard to this new tax rule.
