Creating Your Go4 Account

Learn how to create your Go4 account, complete your profile, upload required credentials, and begin applying for shifts through the platform.

Creating a Go4 account is the first step toward accessing per diem shift opportunities, managing your credentials, and getting paid through the platform. Once your account is created, you'll be able to build your profile, upload required credentials, and begin the verification process.


Creating Your Account

To create a Go4 account:

  1. Download the Go4 app in your mobile device's app store:

    Google Play App Store

    Apple App Store

  2. Select SIGN UP HERE at the bottom of the login screen to create your Go4 account.

  3. Enter all personal information required:
    1. First Name
    2. Last Name
    3. Email Address
    4. Phone Number
    5. Zip Code
    6. Password
  4. Review and accept Go4's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  5. Select Create Account.

Once your account has been created, you'll be able to complete your profile and upload your credentials.

Verify Your Account
After you create an account, a verification link will be sent to your email inbox. You will 24 hours to click on the verification link to verify your account.

Complete Your Profile

After creating your account, we recommend reviewing and completing your profile information to ensure organizations can accurately evaluate your applications.

Your profile may include:

  • Contact Information
  • Professional Experience
  • Preferences
  • Optional Credentials

Keeping your profile complete and up to date can help improve your visibility when applying for shift.


Upload Required Credentials

Before you can become eligible to work shifts through Go4, you must upload all required credentials and have them approved by Go4's Verification Team.

Required credentials generally include:

  • Board of Certification (BOC)
  • Professional Liability Insurance (PLI)
  • State License or Certification (where applicable)

Credential Review Timeline
Required credentials are typically reviewed within 24–72 business hours. Athletic Trainers cannot become eligible for shifts until all required credentials have been approved.


Connect Your Bank Account

Before you can receive payments for completed shifts, you'll need to connect a bank account through Go4's secure payment system (Stripe).

To connect your bank account:

  1. Open the Go4 app.
  2. Navigate to Finances.
  3. Select Connect Bank Account.
  4. Follow the prompts to securely link your account.
  5. Verify your banking information and complete setup.

Once connected, payments for eligible shifts will be deposited directly into your bank account.

Important Note: We recommend connecting your bank account as soon as possible to avoid delays in receiving payment after working a shift.

Getting Paid Through Go4
A bank account is required to receive payouts through the platform. While you can create an account, complete your profile, and apply for shifts without a connected bank account, payment cannot be issued until your banking information has been successfully added.


Set Your Preferences

Once your account and credentials are complete, you can customize your preferences to help surface opportunities that match your interests and qualifications. Click on the menu on the upper-left-hand side (the three lines icon), and select PREFERENCES to get started.

Examples include:

  • Minimum hourly pay
  • Distance from your location
  • Shift types
  • Schedule

Available shifts are shown based on your profile information and credentials.

Yes. Creating a Go4 account is completely free for Athletic Trainers.

What do I need to create an account?
To create an account, you'll need:

  • A valid email address

  • A phone number

  • Your ZIP code

  • Basic personal information

Additional information and credentials can be added after your account has been created.

Can I apply for shifts immediately after creating my account?
Not necessarily. Before becoming eligible for shifts, you must upload all required credentials and have them approved by Go4's Verification Team.

What credentials are required to work shifts through Go4?
Athletic Trainers are generally required to maintain:

  • An active Board of Certification (BOC) credential

  • Professional Liability Insurance (PLI)

  • An active state license or certification where required by law

How long does credential verification take?
Most credential submissions are reviewed within 24–72 business hours. Processing times may vary depending on submission volume and whether additional information is needed.

Can I apply for shifts while my credentials are under review?
Yes. You may submit applications while your credentials are under review. However, your application cannot move forward until all required credentials have been approved.

Do I need to connect a bank account?
Yes. A connected bank account is required to receive payment for completed shifts worked through Go4.

Do I need to connect a bank account before applying for shifts?
No. You can create an account, complete your profile, and apply for shifts without a connected bank account. However, payment cannot be issued until your banking information has been added.

How do I get paid?
Payments for completed shifts are deposited directly into the bank account connected to your Go4 account.

Can I update my profile information later?
Yes. You can update your contact information, credentials, banking information, and profile details at any time through the Go4 app.

Why can't I see any available shifts?
Common reasons include:

  • Required credentials have not been uploaded.

  • Credentials are still under review.

  • Credentials have expired.

  • State licensure requirements have not been met.

  • There are currently no available shifts that match your search criteria.

I forgot my password. What should I do?
Select Forgot Password from the login screen and follow the prompts to reset your password.

Can I have more than one Go4 account?
No. Athletic Trainers should maintain a single Go4 account. Creating multiple accounts may cause issues with credential verification, applications, and payment processing.

What should I do if I'm having trouble creating an account?
